Refugee Engagement Forumのメンバーをゲストとしてお招きし
ユースなんみんプラットフォームのメンバーとの対話を行います。
＜ウガンダと日本の学びあい＞
セッションを通じて、ウガンダと日本の難民に関わる問題、難民支援の現状や
取り組みを紹介し合ったり、お互いの活動の好事例を共有し合ったりします。
難民キャンプや難民の再定住プログラム等についてもお話しする予定です。さらに、グローバル難民フォーラムへ向けて
何を期待するかについても話し合います。実際に難民問題解決に向けて活動しているユースが国境を越えて学びあいます。
Refugee Engagement Forum(REF)
ウガンダ国内の37人の難民リーダー(REFメンバー)を
エンパワメントし、3か月ごとに首都カンパラにて、
よりよいコミュニティや難民のイニシアチブに関する
話し合いを行っている。その後話し合いで出た意見を
元に、2名のメンバーが国の難民対応調整フォーラムにて、難民当事者の声を届ける。こうした活動により、
難民の国家の意思決定の場への持続的な参加を
可能にしている。

I am Magong Andrew Jok, an inspired youth from South Sudan, who is self-driven and willing to learn from my peers.
My main driving force is being selfless in helping my community to see transformation, inspiration and motivation in the society through service delivery especially among the most affected group of people in the Refugee community in Uganda.

I am Sandra Nsimire, a Congolese refugee youth residing in Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement, kamwenge district in Uganda.
I’m self-motivated and I hold a leadership role in the office of Refugee welfare Council as women’s representative.
I am also a Member of the Refugee Engagement Forum.

I am Elijah Manishimwe, a Rwandan refugee Youth residing in Nakivale Refugee settlement in Uganda.
I am hard working and self-motivated with a positive attitude towards change.
While serving the refugee community, I hold a leadership role under the office of Refugee Welfare Council III as a Youth Representative in the above settlement.
I am able to advocate and lobby for the general welfare of refugees mostly Youth in the settlement.
I also represent youth at the Refugee Engagement Forum, and this has strengthened my advocacy capacity as a young leader while I continue serving my community

I am Vicky Adokorach, a female youth refugee in Uganda from South Sudan.
I hold the position of chairperson of Refugees Welfare Council III of Bidibidi settlement and I am a Refugee Engagement Forum representative.
I work with Refugees to advocate and bring change in service delivery, self-reliance, peace-building, and unity within the settlement.
