「ユースなんみんプラットフォーム」は、2月17日（土）、「SDGs多文化CITYフォーラム」にて、SDGs4「質の高い教育をみんなに」と取り残されがちな難民をテーマに、動画やクイズ・ワークを通して理解を深め、「ユースなんみんプラットフォーム」の金澤とアフガニスタン出身のサミラ博士による講演・質疑応答を行いました。
講演では、「ユースなんみんプラットフォーム」の金澤より、難民とは何かや、ロヒンギャ難民の現状、日本のロヒンギャ難民のコミュニティにおける教育課題と原因を紹介しました。（ロヒンギャである@Khadiza Begum 氏が急遽ご欠席）
さらに、アフガニスタン出身のサミラ博士より、アフガニスタンの女性の権利獲得の歴史とタリバンによって奪われた教育などのさまざまな機会やハザラ虐殺についての事実をお伝えいただきました。
一般参加者28名が参加し、
「アフガニスタンの現状について知ることができました。」「関心のきっかけつくりありがとうございます。」「貴重な発題だったと思います。」「ミャンマーの軍事クーデター勃発から未だミャンマーの情勢が改善しないこと、更にロヒンギャへの弾圧も許せません。アフガニスタンのタリバンによる女性への弾圧は許せないと思ってましたが、ここまで女性の権利を剥奪しようとすることは許せないです。勇気ある抗議行動をした女性たちをこれからも応援したいです。」などの声が聴かれました。
アフガニスタン出身のサミラ博士は、「難民も一人の人間。無視しないで。今も世界各地で戦争が起こっている。全ての国地域の平和を祈っている。」と訴えました。
Here is a report from the SDGs Multicultural CITY Forum on February 17. “Youth with Refugees Platform” will hold the “SDGs Multicultural CITY Forum” on Saturday, February 17, to deepen understanding of SDG 4 “Quality Education for All” and refugees who are often left behind through videos, quizzes, and work, and “Youth with Refugees Platform” members Kanazawa and Dr. Samira from Afghanistan gave a lecture and Q&A session.
In the lecture, Kanazawa of “Youth with Refugees Platform” introduced what refugees are, the current situation of Rohingya refugees, and educational challenges and causes in the Rohingya refugee community in Japan. (Ms. Khadiza, a Rohingya, was absent on short notice.)
In addition, Dr. Samira, a native of Afghanistan, gave a history of women’s empowerment in Afghanistan and various opportunities such as education that were taken away by the Taliban and facts about the Hazara massacre.
Twenty-eight members of the public attended. Participants commented, “The event and were able to learn more about the current situation in Afghanistan.” “Thank you for sparking interest.” “I think it was a valuable presentation.” “The situation in Myanmar has not improved since the military coup in Myanmar and the oppression of the Rohingya people is unacceptable.” “I thought the oppression of women by the Taliban in Afghanistan was unforgivable, but to go so far as to deprive women of their rights is unforgivable. I want to continue to support these women for their courageous protest.”
Dr. Samira from Afghanistan said, “Refugees are human beings. Don’t ignore them. There are still wars going on all over the world. I pray for peace in all countries and regions. I pray for peace in all countries and regions.”
